Hey guys! It finally feels like spring here! The sun is shining, the temperature is rising to around 10°C (bring out the sunnies and sandals). Friday after uni, my uni-group and I went out to eat ice cream because the sun was shining, and we we’re all feeling the spring-vibes, and craved ice cream. Turned out to be super windy and too cold, so we were coughing while eating the ice cream with frozen fingers. Not exactly the best timing, but totally worth it. 

Sunday was a “warm” day (we’re talking about 12°c) and super sunny. Once again I felt the spring-vibe and bought some pretty pink tulips while I was grocery-shopping. Such a pretty pop of color and brings some life to my place. Tulips are actually one of my favorite flowers! 😍🌷 Oh yeah, and as you might have noticed, I thought it was finally time to splurge on my favorite ice cream from Ben & Jerry’s (chocolate fudge brownie). Totally backslash: I woke up next morning with soar throat. It was apparently too early to eat it – so now I switched to camomile tea with honey -.-

Hey 🙂 After way too long, I went home last weekend for some errands, and my mom drove me back. On the way we went to Ikea to buy a few kitchen equipments. As we were heading towards the cashier, I spotted this coffee table, on display, and had to stop up. It was a funny coincidence, because I’ve been looking for a coffee table in that style, and then I spot it in Ikea! Ikea!? Well, they had the table in white and some weird yellow shade. I actually wanted it in black, but for the prize, I was like “hell yeah”, took it under my wing and brought it home. I ain’t mad though. Look at how fine it compliments the bedsheets and contrast to the couch. Lovely stuff. 

The building process was way too easy – took me less than 5 minutes to put together. next day I realized the  top-plate was loose, because I can use it as a tray. Aaaaah, how nice? And I tried to place my laptop on the skeleton of the table, and it stayed stable. Nothing better than multi-purpose furnitures.

Hey! Life lately, I’ve been busy, tired and cursing the winter for giving me winter-depression. Since last week, where I decided to sleep earlier, I’ve definitely been overwhelmed by sudden motivation and extra energy. Hehe, I don’t know if the extra sleep caused the sudden fire or if the spring-weather motivated me. But I’ve been very productive the past few days, and slept better, for sure. 

I went home this weekend, after almost 2 months. Oh more accurate, for 1 1/2 day actually. I arrived friday evening. Saturday morning I went to the gym to catch up with one of my friends, and could barely move next day. Just perfect. Then we went to Angelina’s and ordered homemade waffles. Gosh I haven’t had waffles for so long. So delicious! Same day I got my eyebrows fixed and trimmed the split ends off. 

Sunday I got a ride home, we went to Ikea to buy a few things. Totally last minute I see this round metal coffee table. Funny, because it was exactly the type of coffee table I’ve been looking for, and suddenly Ikea has it in white and some sort of yellow. I actually wanted to have it in black, but since it only costed 150DKK, I couldn’t let it pass, and bought it. It was super easy to build – took me less than 5 minutes.

Looking forward to another productive week, and hopefully I can keep up the motivation 🙂

As I promised in my birthday-post, here’s some of the gifts I got from my sister and best friends. When I opened my presents I was screaming and so overwhelmed! I never imagined they’d get their hands on these items for me – I am so happy!

My sister and one of my friends gave me the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance pallet. The colors are stunning neutrals, warm berry tones. As you can see on the second picture, I’ve already dug my brushes into the pans, and tried out some colors. They’re super buttery and blend able, and can easily build up the desired color-intensity. I tried to swatch the colors on my arm, but the photo doesn’t quite justify their true color-pay-off. 🙁 You can look forward to some beauty-looks done with this pallet 😀

One of my other friends gave me this Rituals body mist. This brand – omg – is so luxurious. She already gifted me a nice hand cream from Rituals. It smells so good and has SPF in it. The size is perfect to toss in the pencil case or purse. The body mist is such a rich smell, that reminds me of spring where the flowers blossoms and the air is filled with different floral scents mixed with orange – which I btw love! Gotta be my special-occasion scent 😉 ♥
