Hey guys! What do you think of these colorful pictures above? I’m obsessed! Imagine if I took these pictures with an actual quality camera, damn. I went to Aarhus with one of my best friends because I really wanted to go to the botanical garden (here). I’ve heard about it but I’ve never been there. We were lucky regarding the weather and the atmosphere was so chill.

The park isn’t far away from the railway station, so we walked all the way. I tell you the park was huge with incredibly beautiful trees, flowers and scrubs. They have greenhouses as well, which are divided into four different climates. It was indescribably incredible! So many exotic plants and tons of butterflies. 

After the visit to the botanical garden, we just wandered around the city, and found the campus – there was this enormous park area with neat lawn and gigantic trees – and not to mention the majestic buildings.
We talked about how we imagined that heaven looked like the botanical garden, but changed our mind when we saw the campus park – that place was straight out of a fairy-tale man.

We decided not to use maps while walking around (for adventurous reasons) – so after a whole day of walking randomly around, my legs are completely damaged. Can’t wait to do that again, hehehe. 🙂

Cappuccino | Hot chocolate

Since I’m not a coffee-kinda girl, I’m choosing hot chocolate. I’m sorta like a chocoholic so..

 

Nude Lipstick | Bright Lipstick

This is a tough one. It’s really hard to find the perfect nude for my brown skin tone, but on a daily basis I would choose a nude. Otherwise I always reach for a red or plum lipstick.

 

Hair Up | Hair Down

I love having my hair down, but since it got Rapunzel-long, I’d rather put it up or it’ll get caught everywhere!

 

Plan everything | Go with the flow

I’m a pessimist – so I always imagine worst case scenarios and get anxiety about going to places and stuff, because so much can go wrong. So I’d rather plan everything if I can, but it doesn’t mean I can’t do spontaneous things too 😉

 

Pizza | Pasta

Don’t get me wrong, I like pizza and my dad had owned a pizzeria, but I LOVE pasta! I could eat pasta for days man.

 

Shop Instore | Shop Online

I’m honestly an introvert, and would avoid people if it was an option, but when it comes to shopping I prefer seeing the actual product to be completely sure if I want it or not. Especially when it comes to clothing – there’s nothing worse like clothes that don’t fit you as you envisioned.

 

Red wine | White wine

Ugh, seriously non. I personally think wine is disgusting, but if I had to choose I’d go for white wine. Or Rosé.

 

TV series | Movies

I’m too lazy for series, so if there’s a movie I would just watch that. At the same time I’m too lazy to constantly search for a new movie, so TV series is an easy option to keep me occupied for a while.

 

Showers | Baths

I don’t think I’ve tried taking baths, since we’ve never owned a bath-tub. Maybe someday I’ll try sitting in a tub filled with essential oils and flowers somewhere on a hotel in Bali. Maybe.

 

Nights out | Nights in

I’m a lazy, PJ-loving, sleepy introvert – so of course I’ll go with nights in. I do like nights out sometimes but nights in are my favorites.

 

I’m seriously considering semi-permanent lashes, if it wasn’t because I’m broke.

Hey guys! I mentioned in a previous post that I tried to create a 90’s/00’s kinda bollywood look (here) – but I didn’t bring much make-up and accessories so I was kinda limited. Even worse; I forgot my lashes. It’s a big deal for me since my own lashes don’t cut it.
I honestly wasn’t satisfied with the look, so I wanted to give it a try again some other day when I have my makeup with me.

The pictures above are a few shots of the look – I probably won’t post them on my Instagram, so you’ll only see them here 😅.

I know I need a manicure and to mow the grass.

Hey guys! It’s been a hell of a week  (of course I’m talking about the weather). The sun was shining most of the week and I’ve taken the initiative to read outside. I’m sure my feet and arms got a tan already.
Thursday I tried to create an 90’s/00’s kinda bollywood look, without my complete makeup collection – mainly without my lashes – which was a challenge. I don’t think it turned out exactly as I wanted, so I’ll try again another time. I’ll maybe post some of the pictures someday, we’ll see 😉

The book I’m currently reading is Sapiens – I challenged myself to finish it by the end of this week, and it almost seem impossible. It’s mostly because I have tons of other books to read as well. Heheh 🙂

AHAHA, don’t get intimidated by the title, but I honestly don’t dress this fancy on daily basis. Unless my life was like in an Indian drama, I probably would look this grand 24/7.

Anyways, hey guys! I’ve been waiting 8 months to wear this lehenga – I got it from Sri Lanka, and it is my first lehenga purchase. I actually wanted something more simple, but thought I would probably not get this opportunity to buy this grand style in maybe 10, so here I am, twirling in my fancy fancy lehenga 😀
It’s a pink/baby pink lehenga with golden embroidery. I wore it to a wedding reception. Since the lehenga was already heavy work, I wanted to keep the accessories, hair and makeup very simple. I did a brown smokey eye, with nude lips, curly hair and pearl-gold earrings and two gold bangles.
The skirt was unfortunately too short for me to wear heels, but in the end I was happy that I was forced to wear flats, so my feet wouldn’t hurt at the end of the night.

I can’t wait to wear more traditional outfits and experiment with different looks. Especially when we are moving towards spring/summer where lightening is at its peak *-* ♥
