During my exam-preparations I made sure to take a few breaks, by going out in the nature. We were certainly lucky that the horses were close by the fence that day, so we could greet them. The weather has been quite good lately, which I’m really appreciating. I ordered a bunch of new summer clothes, and I’m glad to know that it wasn’t a complete waste.
Since I’ve gained muscles and grown, I’m in that awkward size between XS and S, and have a hard time figuring out which size to choose while online shopping. My size is still swinging from the one size to another, so it’s really unrealiable. Unfortunately I hate go shopping in physical stores and trying on clothes -.- but it seems like I have no other choice :p

I attended a beautiful wedding, and had the chance to wear this colorful lehenga. My dad brought it to me from Sri Lanka last summer. I think it’s really pretty and not the usual colors I would go for – but damn it was heavy. I did some pink-ish glitter eyemakeup and mixed some lip colors to get this pink-rosie lip shade (the makeup details will be listed down below). I kept the jewelleries minimal – wore a tikka and nosering for the first time at a function, and found my smallest jhumkis, with just two bangles.
I did actually try on the lehenga blouse two weeks in prior and it fit perfectly. On the day of the wedding, the blouse was too big and my mom started to complain about it – she had to pin it on. Apparantly I lost some weight withing these two weeks. It is probably due to my diet – so I’m pretty glad to know that my diet is actually working 🙂

Remember when I told you, that I bought a lot of new things (including new summer outfits)? Well, here’s one of the purchases! I bought this midi floral dress from JustFab, and it is just prettier than I expected it to be! It’s some nice flowy fabric and good quality! I wore it the day I went to Aarhus with my friend, and had to get a few outfit pictures as well hehe.

On one of my days off, I suddenly felt like trying out some of my clothes and ended up taking these pictures. I have this blazer-jacket, which I can’t wait to use more of, and created a figure-look with a belt. I styled this look with these retro sunglasses, because the shade of the glasses went well with the blazer’s colorstory, and the gold frame just fit the golden hour perfectly.
One thing I still can’t figure out, is why the picture quality is so bad even though I upgraded my phone from Iphone 5s to 8 😩 Annoying but maybe I’ll figure it out at some point.
Last month I received this package from ILYmix with some of the cutest sunglasses. I got the three pairs you can see down below. I’ve worn the sun glasses in some pictures (and when it’s sunny of course), but also wanted to give you my impression of each pair I received.
Chic Modern Slim Metal Frame Sunglasses (gold pink) This design is different from the other two sunnies I got. It’s not one of those retro styles, because I thought it would be a safer choice to get a variation of styles. I love the color of this one, it’s not monochrome, it has this rosegold mirror-reflex glasses. Unfortunately these are my least favorite pairs I’ve receive, only because of the size of it. The huge frame makes my face look like a bug-face hahah. Who knows? Maybe I can make it work somehow.
Retro 90’s Small Oval Tiny Sunglasses (gold smoke) OMG! This is definitely my favorite pair! I love the retro about it, and they’re not so tiny, that they won’t cover my eyes. The color of it is super chic and I just love the way it frames my face. I’ve always taken my brow-shape in consideration whenever I buy glasses/sunnies, and this pair doesn’t interfer with the lines.
Retro 90’s Thin Cat Eye Sunglasses (black smoke) These are probably the standard, cat-eye style everybody has been hooked on since last year – including me! It’s not easy to find a retro cat-eye sunglasses in the stores, and I’ve been super sceptic about the ones online. I have a very small head and face, so sunglasses can easily look too big on me. These however fits just right. They’re bigger than they look on the website but they’re not too big.
All-in-all The sunglasses are of great quality, and the styles are so in. They arrived safely and look incredible. I can’t wait till the sun is out for real, so I can get to wear them as soon as possible!
