Color-Clashing Lehenga

Hey guys!
I attended a beautiful wedding, and had the chance to wear this colorful lehenga. My dad brought it to me from Sri Lanka last summer. I think it’s really pretty and not the usual colors I would go for – but damn it was heavy. I did some pink-ish glitter eyemakeup and mixed some lip colors to get this pink-rosie lip shade (the makeup details will be listed down below). I kept the jewelleries minimal – wore a tikka and nosering for the first time at a function, and found my smallest jhumkis, with just two bangles.

I did actually try on the lehenga blouse two weeks in prior and it fit perfectly. On the day of the wedding, the blouse was too big and my mom started to complain about it – she had to pin it on. Apparantly I lost some weight withing these two weeks. It is probably due to my diet – so I’m pretty glad to know that my diet is actually working 🙂

Navy Saree

Hey guys!

I guess it is party season already, and I’m not entirely mad about it. The outfit pictures turn out amazing due to the great weather and I finally get excuses to wear my traditional attire and full-face makeup 😏
I’m wearing my mom’s saree. My dad bought it to her from Sri Lanka last year. Since I didn’t have anything to wear, my mom gave it to me.

I think it looked really pretty, and kinda different from what I usually wear. The color was very toned down, so I paired it with some thread-jhumkas from ByElegance in gold, which matched the border of the saree. I kinda kept my makeup minimal – no crazy colors. I’ve been into more minial makeup-looks lately to be honest.

Traditional in Pink

Hey guys!
You might have seen these pictures on my insta-feed. I wore this outfit (a long time ago) for a puberty ceremony. I’m not gonna lie, since I’ve started to lift weights, I’ve got broader shoulders and more muscles all around. Therefore I can barely fit any of my old saree blouses 🙄, which is a shame!
So I found this blouse I could fit, and remembered that I haven’t worn it with its actual saree. So here it is in its full glory.

The earrings I’m wearing are some, my cousin in Sri Lanka, made for me. I’ve got those thread-jhumkas in basically every color, so I’m pretty much stocked up on them 😉

As for my makeup, I kept it very simple. I’ve been sticking to some simple makeup looks lately – I find it more classy and elegant. Also want to go towards some more matte-colors this season and see how it’ll go 🙂

By Elegance

Hey guys!

You know how much I love to doll up and take pictures even if I’m not going anywhere? Here I’ve got a more simple and elegant look for ya’ll.
To create this look I wore these stunning gold thread earrings I’ve received from ByEleganceJewels. The earrings are super cute and they have them in various colors. They’re easy to style and I would definitely use them for traditional temple- or more simpler looks.
Generally I admire their beautiful pieces and will definitely have more in my collection 😇

Serving some Traditional Vibes

Hey guys! The next couple of pictures you’ll be seeing on my grid will be these, I took last month when I attented a traditional party. My dad brought me this blue saree (among others), and I thought it was simple and elegant to wear to this kinda event 🙂

For my makeup I took inspiration from Aishwariya Rai Bachan’s Cannes 2014 look – the liner + red lips. Such a classic timeless look, and I thought it would make eyes pop in a different way.

Aaaand yes! You will see me wearing these lenses often until I get some other colors or some clear ones :D♥
