Lakmé fashion week took over this week, and if you’ve followed them on the social medias, you may have seen the beautiful designs and creative minds’ amazing handwork. Personally I mostly looked  forward to see Sabysachi’s collection and Manish Malhotra’s summer/resort line. Manish Malhotra released a sneak peek to his collection with few pics, and the headline “The Blue Runway“. He announced that his collection would mainly be based on  shades of yellow and blue. Yellow and Blue? Really? I was very skeptical in the beginning, and wondered how he would work with these colors. It turned out to be beyond the expectations and opened one’s eyes wide! Wow! I mean.. The collection is different compared to his other designs. Talking about the Yellow and Blue combination – just wow! The main colors are Blue and Yellow, but in shades from indigo and navy to lavender and mauve – and from sunshine yellows to decadent gold-and-cream ensembles.

He made it harmonically work by adding huge embroidered flowers – and I just want all the pieces in my wardrobe.

Hello everybody!

It’s been a little while since my last post. I have been working on another post, but put it on standby because of my illness. Looking at the symptoms it might just be a virus attack, so the only thing I can do is taking a rest, and let my immune system fight the strange guest inside of me.

Instead of piles of pills and stuff, I prefer to boost my immune system with natural ingredients. Usually I’ll drink a cup of camille tea with honey. But lately I’ve tried out ginger tea and it seems to help as well. I also squeeze 5-7 drops of fresh lemon in it, to add some c-vitamins. I honestly think it tastes bad, but it helps and cure made of natural ingredients. Otherwise I’m just craving food and movies, and doing nothing but laying in my bed and resting.

Homemade Cheesecake and rolls. They are left overs from a party and tastes fantastic!

Gingertea with lemon. I only leave the teabag in the hot water for 2-3 minutes to extract some important oils from it.

Hey out there! These are some of the pics from Saturday’s shot for a modeling/example album, where I’m wearing a panjavi and a printed georgette saree. The outfits are mine and the simple makeup is done by me. I created a classic look with a little winged eyeliner with a red lipstick by MAC cosmetics Ruby Woo – and I also made loose curls with no updo. I chosed simple statement accessories to make the whole look simple and elegant. ♥♥♥
