CPH | Last Day

Hey guys!
Here’s a very short version of our last day in Copenhagen.

We woke up early – I basically had all my stuff packed down the night before, because I hate stressing about things. We checked out 11am, and went straight to get some breakfast before the 4-5 hour bus ride home. Since it was in between morning and lunch time, we decided to eat some pre-lunch, and went to Café Vivaldi. Here I ordered some WOK noodles and had some apple juice.

On our way to the bus-stand, we made a stop at the railway station, to stock up on some food/drinks for the trip – also I couldn’t resist buying a donut from Dunkin D. The trip back home went quickly, and I kinda went straight to bed, as we had morning lectures the following day.

CPH | Copenhagen Specs

Hey guys!
Once again, before you scroll through the pictures, let me give you a short resumé of the day.

Saturday was dedicated to Copenhagen Specs. The exhibition was held on an “abandond” locomotive workshop. It was pretty nice actually, the whole place looked super rustic, witht the bulbs and everything. We had a few presentations from some independend eyewear brands, talking about different types of frame materials. There were many independend brands showcasing their designs and other things. It was super interesting talking to the different brands and trying ou their styles.

After the exhibition, we went to the mall (Fiskertorvet) since it was nearby, and then back to the hotel to rest up before dinner with our classmates. We ate at DalleValle and the food was really good! After dinner and drinks, I decided to go back to the hotel because my body was already in bad shape, I felt like it was shutting down after these couple of eventful days.

CPH | Corporation Visit

Hey guys!
So here’s day two of our trip to Copenhagen. We spent most of our day at Essilor’s headquarter. Besides from free (and super delicious) lunch, we had a mini tour and they’d planned some presentations for us. Compared to some other students, I personally thought it was very interesting to see how they cut the glasses, how their procedures and products work.

As you can see on the pictures below, their headquarters was STUNNING. Love the interior and design! And of course I needed some pictures for my insta hehe – but can you blame me?

The visit ended pretty late, so we didn’t have much time for shopping. The day we arrived, we booked a table at Grillen Burgerbar, since it has been a while since I’ve been there last, and the prices on their menu is just another reason to go 🤤

CPH | Arrival

Hey guys!
Here’s a post on our first day in Copenhagen – The arrival! We took an earlier bus to the capital, since we all agreed that it would be too tiring to go look for dinner too late and get straight to bed. The sun was just setting as we stepped out of the bus, and luckily we only had to walk about 10 minutes to get to the hotel from the busstop.

We stayed at Wakeup Copenhagen at Carsten Niebuhrs gade, and had a room at 11th floor with an amazing view. The room was just perfect in size and it was over-all a good place and the staff was super helpful.

After dumping our luggage in our room and freshing up, we went to the town square/pedestrianstreet with shops. It seemed to be the right place to go looking for some food. I convinced my friends to try out a restaurant I’ve been at twice (I’m OBSESSED with their spaghetti bolognese!!!). The restaurant is called Mama Rosa, placed in (where I would call) the middle of the busy shopping street.
The spaghetti bolognese was just as delicous and perfectly spiced as I remembered it 😉

After our dinner, we went home to get some sleep before a busy day ahead. I’ll get more into it on my next post 🙂

CPH | Corporation-Weekend

Hey guys!
There has been quiet on the blog over the weekend. Last week Thursday I went to Copenhagen for a weekend-conference organized by the Optometry academy. Our stay expanded over a 3 nights and I thought of publishing seperate posts about the trip.

I barely went shopping, but I got to eat some great food and learn a lot about the corporation Essilor and meet a lot of independent corporations and brands.

Stay tuned for the updates 😉
