Soft Monochrome Look

Hey guys!

Those pictures you saw above? Same day, same makeup, but different time. To be honest, these pictures were taken back in February, when I finally decided to try out my newest baby – Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette. I wanted to create a monochrome look, simple and perfect for a golden-hour.

I’m keep trying out some new techniques and vary my product-choices, to improve my skills and try out what works for me and experiment to get different outcomes.
This time I wanted to keep the makeup minimal/monochrome, so I used probably 3-4 matte shades from the ABH SG palette, a little winged liner, and some more natural false lashes. I focused on keeping the skin look glowy and natural, and the same with my lips.
The main-factor was trying this look out with the golden sunlight as it was setting. I got different outcomes as you can see on the pictures which is awesome! I especially love the way my brown iris gets more visible (I’m not encouraging you to ever look directly at the sun!), and made my skin look glowy.

Traditional in Pink

Hey guys!
You might have seen these pictures on my insta-feed. I wore this outfit (a long time ago) for a puberty ceremony. I’m not gonna lie, since I’ve started to lift weights, I’ve got broader shoulders and more muscles all around. Therefore I can barely fit any of my old saree blouses 🙄, which is a shame!
So I found this blouse I could fit, and remembered that I haven’t worn it with its actual saree. So here it is in its full glory.

The earrings I’m wearing are some, my cousin in Sri Lanka, made for me. I’ve got those thread-jhumkas in basically every color, so I’m pretty much stocked up on them 😉

As for my makeup, I kept it very simple. I’ve been sticking to some simple makeup looks lately – I find it more classy and elegant. Also want to go towards some more matte-colors this season and see how it’ll go 🙂
